Why so many Range Rover pictures?

I expected this to be (as the title suggests; Buying, enjoying, maintaining, modifying) an cross between a Haynes manual and a general guide, with great pictures. It's got the second two parts fairly well covered but as for using the book to actually attempt a job it has little worth. It does however cover the history quite well and as such filled a few missing gaps in my knowledge. If you are going to DIY; service, modify etc. then you will still need a Workshop Manual. I would have given this book 3 stars if it was not for half a dozen pictures purely of Range Rover, WHY?
